Work permit information

Student Work Permits are available through the State of Michigan links provided below:

The CA-6 Work Permit is for a minor under 16 years of age (must be printed pink and front to back)

The CA-7 Work Permit is for a minor 16 to 17 years of age (must be printed yellow and front to back)

The work permit is required to be signed by Novi High School, so please email Christina Alex and she will assist you in getting the permit signed and help answer any questions that you might have. Her email is christina.alex@novik12.org 

Work permits can also be completed electronically. Please have sections one and two completed prior to sending to Christina Alex via email: christina.alex@novik12.org.

The steps for completion are as follows: 

1. The Student completes Section I.

2. The Employer completes Section II.

3. Scan and email to: christina.alex@novik12.org. Christina Alex will complete Section III on behalf of Novi High School.

4. Christina will scan and email the work permit to the Student upon completion.

5. The Student gives the completed work permit to the Employer.
