NOTE: Scores do NOT show up on Novi High School transcripts, nor do they impact Novi High School grades

EXAM REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

All students scheduled for AP or IB classes this fall, who plan to test in the spring, be sure to review the AP/IB 2027 Spring Exam Draft and take note of your exam dates and general times. Specific timing and locations will not be shared until April. IB exams do not have alternate testing dates or times. AP exams require a valid reason/approval for late testing.

 
  • All AP exams cost $99 each - AP exam fees MUST be paid directly to aptsusa.com/novi.
  • IB exams cost $128 each - IB students need to complete a registration form prior to submitting payment to eFunds. The form will be available in October.
  • Exams requested after the payment deadlines will incur a $40 late fee.
  • Full refunds (less processing fees) can be requested until November 6.

AP EXAM SELF-STUDY

Since the Fall of  2019, Novi High School has not allowed students to self-study for AP Exams. This decision was made for several reasons, the most important was our concern for students' mental wellness. The practical reason is knowledge that AP exams alone do not improve student's acceptance to universities. 
 

Exceptions: World Languages and retakes 

If a student meets the requirements of the exceptions above and would like to self-study, they MUST contact Alaina.Brown@NoviK12.org prior to October 16 to avoid late fees.
