However, I would have to say that Mrs. Forster from IB Business and Marketing, Mrs. Moss from Finance, and Mrs. Franchi from AP Comp Sci all keep me engaged in class and expose me to how I can apply myself in the individual fields they teach in. I am forever grateful for my chats and interactions with these teachers because of their long-lasting impact on students like me!"

Favorite teacher: "How can I choose just one?! I have to shout out my top four, Mr. Zuk, Ms. Szkrybalo, Mrs. Schurig, and Mr. Baldwin. They're all such wonderful teachers and just lovely human beings in general! All four of them have made my high school experience so much more joyful as I looked forward to their classes and seeing them everyday. They never failed to put a smile on my face and and support me. Thanks to them, I have grown tremendously."

Favorite teacher: "All of my teachers have been great, but my all-time favorite is Mr. Housey, whom I had for ELA 10. He made the class incredibly entertaining and truly ignited the passion for reading and writing that I still have today."

Favorite teacher: "My favorite teachers are Dr. Ficano-Petricca and Mr. Ryan. Dr. Ficano-Petricca motivated me to continue learning Spanish and work hard to be better at the language and made class fun and enjoyable. Mr. Ryan contributed to my love for biology and has helped me a lot in high school. Both teachers have helped me become a better student and a better person."

Favorite teacher: "All of my teachers have taught me amazing things, but I have especially enjoyed having Mr. O'Leary as a teacher. I had him as my Honors Geometry teacher in my freshman year and now two years later as my BC Calculus teacher. He truly cares about all of his students and pushes us to do our best!"

Favorite teacher: "Mr. White. Mr. White brings a lot of humor and energy during teaching, it is easy to tell he loves what he is doing. He has also been very encouraging during my time in esports and playing Magic the Gathering with him has been a blast."

Favorite teacher: "Mr. Pohlonski. He has been my swim coach for four years, but also was my math teacher junior year. He gets to know all of his students well, and makes class so enjoyable!"

Favorite teacher: "My favorite teacher is Mr. Langley. I have been in Mr. Langley's advisory since my freshman year, and have had him as a teacher for both Physics and IB Physics. Over the last four years, I have learned a lot from him, and am grateful to have experienced being in his classes."

Favorite teacher: "Although it's a little hard to choose, I would say either Mrs. Franchi or Mr. O'Leary. Both were special in their own way and had a unique ability to make challenging concepts seem understandable. Both were also very friendly and made their classes some of the most enjoyable ones I've had so far."

Favorite teacher: "Mr. White because I never found history classes engaging until I took his AP European History class. Unlike other history classes I've taken, I actually looked forward to going to his history class."

From having random conversations to competing in DECA for four years, my connection with both these teachers stretches farther than just academics. Each day, I have enjoyed coming to their classes, knowing that I'd leave knowing something new."

Favorite teacher: "Throughout my time at Novi High School, Mrs. Forster and Mrs. Franchi come to be my favorite teachers. Mrs. Forster has provided me with a tremendous amount of support in and out of the classroom with DECA and in business while Mrs. Franchi catalyzed my love for computer science."

Favorite teacher: "My favorite teacher was Ms. Szkrybalo, who taught me AP Micro and Macroeconomics. Her ability to connect the coursework to current trends influenced me to research our economy and learn more outside of the course. Her teaching was very interactive and had different fun activities, such as building a tower out of marshmallows and sticks and playing monopoly."

Favorite teacher: "I would say Mrs. Baker, my French teacher from freshman to junior year, made learning enjoyable and interesting. Over those three years, I built a strong connection with her and looked forward to her class every day."

Favorite teacher: "Mr. Lis was my favorite teacher because his lessons were very engaging and it seemed like he genuinely cared about his students and their education. I was also able to develop a great relationship with him through his coaching of the Varsity Hockey team."

Favorite teacher: "My favorite teacher is Mrs. Forster because she always knows how to make class entertaining and her energy always brightens my day. IB Business has been a huge influence in my life and the lessons I've learned from Mrs. Forster are ones I will hold with me throughout my future."

Favorite teacher: "Choosing one favorite teacher is hard because I've had so many good ones throughout high school but if I had to choose I would say Mr. White. I took AP European History with him and he turned history, which I usually struggle with, into a subject that I really enjoyed and understood. He has a fun personality and always seemed really excited to teach everyone."

Favorite teacher: "Herr Baldwin. It’s hard to pick just one, since I feel like all the teachers I have built a relationship with are each my favorite in some way. I’ve taken German with Herr Baldwin all four years I’ve been at the high school, so I feel like our friendship has had more time to grow. I feel like he deeply cares about all of his students’ success, well-being, and interests in a very genuine way."
