Whether that be within the classroom with their wealth of different classes or outside of the classroom with the countless extracurricular activities that they offer. Even at this high level of academics, Novi still inspires its students to have fun, play, and be kids. This balance is what it means to me to be a be a Novi Wildcat."

Advice for future students: Be kind to your future self. Get things done sooner rather than later. Make it a priority and schedule it with time for revision. It makes your life a lot more comfy. But most importantly, try to find a group of friends you can be authentic with."

Favorite teacher: "This is a difficult decision since I have a lot of teachers in mind, but probably Mrs. Bonacorsi. She was my ELA 10 teacher and was always very kind and thoughtful. I had a closeted attitude at that time, but her encouraging personality was what helped me improve my ability to communicate and bring out the best in my writing and speaking."

Advice for future students: "High school is a period of time when you can probably feel like you're maturing as a person. Favorite teacher: "i had Mr. Zuk my junior year for AP Calc AB and he really knew how to make the class fun. He was a great teacher who knew how to make learning interesting and easy while also never letting anyone fall behind. Additionally, as a member of the long distance track team since freshman year, he's been my coach for a while now and is always there whenever I need advice, whether it's academic or track-related. Overall, I'm grateful to have had him as my teacher and will always be thankful for the knowledge he gave me."

Advice for future students: "Do as many activities (sports, clubs, etc) freshman and sophomore year as possible. You don’t have to stay in all of them for all of high school but the point is to find out what you like and dislike. Keep participating in the clubs and sports that you like, and drop the ones you’re not interested in, but just make sure to do it sooner than later."

History isn't my favorite topic, however, in Mr. White's class, I was always interested in learning more, and I loved how I could connect the subject to my other classes. Finally, I am grateful for the insights and experiences Mr. White shared with the class that have shaped me as a person."

What makes this statement true for you?: "What makes this statement true for me at Novi High School is the opportunity and experiences Novi provides me that I otherwise wouldn't have access to. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to be exposed to all the communities and diverse people at Novi High School in addition to the clubs and classes that I have been able to experience at Novi."
